- The Kongs re-exploring Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River – Bangkok has changed quite a bit since we left, there are now many new MRT stations in the city. Seeing the city together felt like a honeymoon!
- The Kongs participating in a provincial prayer meeting at Nong Bua Lamphu with church youths. It was also great reconnecting with the people whom Jon worked with at Nong Bua Lamphu.
- The Kongs sharing personal testimonies with the elderly in a rural village at Chaiyaphum – we’ve come to realise that the elderly in Thailand are neglected and marginalised in society and needing a lot of ministering.
- Our daily yummy breakfast in Khonkaen – Phoebe plucked up the courage to drive the Kongs to the breakfast place every morning! Jon was also reminded of how he received his missions calling in Khonkaen, and God led us to stay at the hotel where he stayed while on his first mission trip 11 years ago!
| Pray with us! 1. We are currently seeking God on location and areas of service. Pray for God to direct us, show us clearly and to pave the way ahead for us. 2. Pray for God to be the centre of our marriage. 3. Thank God for the opportunities to open up our home to youths who need a home – a 21-year-old girl will be moving in with us end of this month. May we have the love and wisdom to minister to her in her journey of restoration. 4. Pray for Jon as he gets busy with church and youth ministry schedules in 2020. 5. Pray for Phoebe to be prepared in her heart, mind, body and spirit for the new school term. May God inspire and lead her to the topic for missions research that she will be working on in the coming semester. Do write back to us so that we can be praying for you too! |
